Environmental reporting for Creative Scotland MYFs and The City of Edinburgh Council strategic partners

All the below information is now up to date for the 2025/26 environmental reporting. The reporting survey will open on Wednesday 15 April for Creative Scotland MYFOs and Wednesday 22 April for City of Edinburgh Council funded organisations. Organisations will receive a link to the survey and all relevant information via email.

This guidance is for organisations that are required in their funding agreements to report on their emissions and develop a carbon management plan. These organisations are currently Creative Scotland multi-year funded organisations and organisations receiving revenue funding from the City of Edinburgh Council’s Culture Service.

All organisations are sent a survey to complete annually. This year, the survey will open on Wednesday 15 April for Creative Scotland MYFOs and 22 April for City of Edinburgh Council funded organisations. The deadline for submission is Thursday 30 July but we encourage organisations to submit their response at a time before then that works best for their organisation’s timelines.

All emissions reporting is for the previous year, so this year will be for the period April 2025-March 2026. In addition to this emissions reporting, the survey covers carbon management planning, adaptation, biodiversity, circular economy planning and influence.
