Using the survey platform
We use the Zoho Form survey platform to host the environmental reporting. We advise you to read this guidance thoroughly to understand the features of the survey.
Link to access
You will be provided with a link to access the survey via an email.
Click on the link when you receive it, and you will be taken to the survey platform.
Survey logic
Some questions in the survey will only appear if you select a certain answer on a previous question. If this logic impacts a question, it is explained in the question-level guidance, informing you that answering a given question will cause other questions to show.
Saving progress
The survey will give you the option to save your progress and continue it later. You can save the survey at any point even if you haven’t answered all questions on a page. To do this follow these steps:
- Click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the form.
- A pop-up box should appear giving you the option to copy or email a link. Either copy the link and save it somewhere safe or type your email in the ‘Email link to’ box and click send. If you do the latter, you should receive the link in an email (this may go into your junk folder).
- When you are ready to continue working on your response, paste the link into your browser and continue from where you left off.

Reviewing your response
There is a requirement to have the response reviewed and signed off by your organisation’s director. There are two ways you can do this:
Option 1
- Once you have completed the survey, click ‘Save’ and the save link pop-up will appear.
- Copy or email the link and share it with your director.
- They will then be able to use that link to view the response (and also edit it).
Option 2
- Once you have completed the survey, go to the final page and click ‘Review’ (you can also do this to review the response yourself).
- Copy the text from the box that pops up and paste it into a word document.
- Share this document with your director for review.
Submitting your response
Once you are happy with your response, click submit at the bottom of the final page. On submission, you will receive a confirmation email with a PDF of your response and a link to edit your response if you find any mistakes. If you haven’t received this email within 24 hours of submitting, please get in touch.
