Start a climate action film club!

Do you believe in the power of cinema to spark change? Why not start your own film club with support from Take One Action Film Festivals!

Action! Film Clubs are community-run projects, offering community groups or existing film clubs access to our specially curated catalogue of world-changing films. Take the headache out of negotiating film rights and concentrate on empowering your community and increasing creative, impactful action for a fairer and more sustainable world.

How it works: we support community groups and film clubs to build and run their own screening programmes, giving you access to our specially-curated catalogue of world-changing films. With hands-on support from the Take One Action team, you choose 6 films that will resonate with your community, set your own pace (monthly, fortnightly, whatever works), and screen them over up to 18 months. We handle the rest: supplying the films, providing resources on marketing, event planning, and facilitating conversations and connecting you with local initiatives and individuals in your area.

We’ve already supported hundreds of screenings across Scotland and we’d love to welcome more groups!
